Cold cranking amps low bought a new battery. Left door open for 30 mins while I cleaned it car wouldn't start. Had car doors open for 20 mins then left to go somewhere else. What this the right decision or could there be another issue? I went ahead and bought a new battery with the assumption that the current one is going bad. If the stability control lights or ABS light come on, there is a problem with the ABS. This light means that active stability control has been turned off via the button on the dashboard. This light means that 4WD LOCK is chosen by the drive mode selector. Test came back that my cold cranking amps were at 354 and should be at 500. This light means the pressure in one of the tires is low. Jumped it with my 2nd car and took it to the local auto parts store for battery test. Went to start it to park it again and it wouldn't turn over again. Door were open about 30 mins while I cleaned. Drove it around to my garage opened the door and cleaned it. I went to sleep woke up the next morning. When I parked it I turned it off and then turned it back on again. We drove another three and half hours home without issue. Drove the car to the top of the parking garage then back down again before I decided to get on the road. Got a jump from a guy and the car started right up. The engine wouldn't turn over it would just click repeatedly when I turned the key. We came back about an hour and half later to leave. We had the doors open for about 20 mins while we were changing the baby and swapping bags to carry less stuff. I drove three and half hours and then parked the car for about three hours When I came back to the car my family and I started preparing for the rest of the afternoon. I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander and had a question about what I think is a battery issue.
